Specific Features of Hypersensitive Glans

Hypersensitive glans is most common cause having an effect on time when ejaculation occurs and intercourse duration.

Hypersensitive glans may be acquired or congenital. Acquired hypersensitive nerve endings in most cases is caused by phimosis or balanoposthitis but this disorders occur quite rarely.

Premature ejaculation caused by hypersensitive nerve endings found on head of penis (glans) has many  specific features:
  • Duration of all sexual intercourses is approximately the same.
  • In most patients ejaculation disorders are observed during all sexual life.
  • Each next intercourse lasts approximately the same as first one.
  • Sexual intercourse with condom lasts significantly longer than without it. The same effect has artificial lubricants – as more amounts of it are used, the longer sexual intercourse is.
  • Sperm release doesn't occurs before penis enters vagina. Here are not taken into consideration cases when ejaculation occurred because of friction of erected penis against linen or during wearing condom.
  • Small amount of alcohol helps to increase duration of sexual intercourse.
  • It is possible to prolong sexual intercourse by using special condoms with anesthetics and artificial lubricants based on this substances.

There exists a simle way to deal with premature ejaculation connected with hypersensitive glans. You should use gel lubricants containing  anaesthetics. Apply it on glans 10 – 15 minutes before sexual intercourse. Also to prolong intercourse may be used spray that contains lidocaine which applied  as well directly on penis.
