Hypersensitive Glans

This is most frequent cause of premature ejaculation. Hypersensitive glans may be inherent or acquired. Acquired hypersensitive glans may be resulted from balanoposthitis or phimosis but this occurs rarely.

Premature ejaculation connected with hypersensitive glans has a number of peculiarities:
- It never courses wavily, which means duration of sexual intercourse is always the same.
- Most of all premature ejaculation goes with a male all his life.
- Second and third sexual intercourses are not longer than first one.
- Duration of sexual intercourse with condom is significantly longer than without condom.  -  - The same thing is about non-natural lubricants  - the more it is applied , the more longer sexual intercourse is.
- Ejaculation never occurs before sexual intercourse except cases when ejaculation occurs when wearing condom or rubbing penis head of underwear.
- Drinking some alcohol helps to significantly prolongation of sexual intercourse.
- Special condoms and lubricants prolong sexual intercourse.

Generally, it is easy to find out if premature ejaculation is connected with hypersensitive glans. For that purpose you should use special lubricant with anesthetic which you may buy in pharmacy or sex shop. As a rule, such lubricants are applied within 10 minutes to penis head before sexual intercourse. If you see it works and duration of sexual intercourse is increased then your premature ejaculation is really connected with hypersensitive glans. However, it does not mean that is the only cause of premature ejaculation.

The most effective way of treatment for  hypersensitive glans is circumcision (penis foreskin removal). After this operation glans is in permanent contact with underwear. After circumcision the duration of sexual intercourse increases twofold even if you had no problems with it before. In case you had problems they are solved easily.

If hypersensitive glans is connected with balanoposthitis or phimosis then operation is the only  solution. In case male refuses to make circumcision he may continue to use lubricants with anesthetic. It seems not favorable but it helps to avoid operation and lead normal sex life.
